The End of Days? Watch The Signs
The coming of the day of the Christ!
Part 1 of 4 [The Nations]
This is the part 1 of a 4 part series, where I look into different aspects of the End of Days, 1. The Nations, 2. The Heavens 3. The Earth 4. The Book & The Tree, it's long because I wanted to reach the seriousness of the day, talk with you about what's most important in all our lives. So let us be careful so we don't miss it, Our names not written in Lambs book of Life. Caught with our work undone, or our souls not being born again.
Remember when the turn of the century came about? Y2K was fast approaching, and everywhere you looked, people were talking about the second coming of Christ, "The Last Days." There were many documentaries on TV, the media had so many preachers and historians on their news shows, and even in the churches many church sermons were geared to the return of Christ. Many people weren't sure what was about to happen, and most of us were at one of two extremes, we were either going do like the artist Prince and "Party like it was 1999" or be on our knees in church just in case Jesus Christ split the sky and we didn't want to be caught in the club that night. In fact some were even afraid, that all the computers were going to go crazy and the power was going to go out [for some it did, but they just didn't pay the light bill.] But soon after after the whole Y2K fiasco left, everyone went back to their everyday lives. Kinda like what the bible says about the days of Noah, "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark [Matt 24:38]."
One of the most important questions in the bible that was ever asked and will affect our lives more than 2000 years later, was asked in private by Jesus disciples, they ask "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? " [Matt 24]. — According to scripture Jesus began to explain to his disciples about what things that should take place in the last days. And though many of the signs as a single event may not seem important, but like birth pains in a pregnancy, the closer the pain comes together, the more you know it's coming. My goal in this issue, is not to teach all about the end of the world, but to let you know that it is coming. — There are certain things in scripture that only can be fulfill in certain parts of history. For example, the coming and dying of Jesus Christ on the cross was prophesied since the days of Adam, yet some 4000 years later, it took the fall of Israel and the rise of a Roman empire, to put Christ on the cross as a Roman death [...without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22]. Because when the Jews put someone to death they stoned them, because it was a curse to hang someone on a tree, but the Romans hung prisoners on crosses in their executions.
Well this is the same when it comes to the end of the days, several prophets talk about it, including Jesus which is the Christ [Matt 24], the prophet Daniel [Dan. 8], the prophet Ezekiel [Ezk. 38-39], and many others, because remember the fulfilling of God's kingdom was not with the resurrection of Christ [that saved our souls, Romans 10:9], but it was the final return of the Messiah that shall establish the Kingdom forever [Isaiah 9:7] — Jesus said, Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." [Rev. 3:3]
The stars are aligning, sort of speak. God spoke to the prophet Ezekiel a prophecy thats reads as follow in Chapter 38 "Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. " — Now the nation of Israel at that time had already been scattered, and would not become a nation again until 1948, which on May 14, they celebrated their 60th Anniversary of restoration. Jesus told us to learn the parable of the fig tree, which is Israel [Matt. 4:32]. Now according to the word of God, "this generation will not pass until the scriptures be fulfilled." — Nations that were left destroyed in the Old Testament but prophesied in the New Testament would rise up and be factors in the end time, are now doing so. Countries like Israel, Iran and Iraq [which is Babylon], Syria and Libya, all of whom have been out of the picture for the past 2000 years are now front and center in world events. "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? ....The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed" [Psalms 2]
Jesus said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. " Matt 24:32-37
Be blessed.
